My comments on tutoring German : I am a nativ German from Munich. I finished my school education with 16 and started at a Business University with 17. My Major subject in School was German.

I prefer face-to-face teaching.
In my 12 year School education, i scipped two classes and graduated with 16 years. In School my Major subject was German. After that i started study at a international Business University. While i study, i teached other students, that they can pass the tests (Abitur) with better grades. And all of my students passed their tests with top grade. My best experience is, that i am a native German.

Experienced, Patient, Versatile Tutor

I love teaching art to all age levels. I really enjoy it when I show someone an art technique, they learn it, and make it their own. When teaching art, I feel it very important to demonstrate a technique, discuss how the technique has been used in different cultures, and then for the student to mimic my actions. Once the technique has been mastered, the student can take the technique and use it in their own way. As a math tutor, I work closely to find a method that clicks for the student. Although schooled in the Communicative Method in second language acquisition, my teaching styles are varied, fluid and dependent upon the individual student and subject. Along with patience, understanding will create an environment conducive to learning.
A BA and an MA in French provide me with the knowledge. Experience as a former teaching assistant and as a current online tutor give me the skills necessary to teach. As an undergraduate in Chemical engineering, I have always been known to strive to be the best that I can be. I have my BS in Chemical Engineering which displays my knowledge of both science and math. I was also a graduate student in pharmaceutical sciences in Colorado and helped to write scientific grant proposals. This experience shows my working knowledge of both science and english, as well.
