For the bulk of my academic and professional career I have mentored or supervised colleagues or post-doctoral fellows in the natural sciences. While I have obtained academic training in Chemistry and Biology (BS), Biochemistry (MS and Ph.D) and neuroscience (post-doctoral research) I have studied and utilized many additional areas of science including, immunology, molecular biology, organic chemistry, toxicology, epidemiology. In addition, I have developed extensive knowledge of electronics, computer programming and robotics. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary and will be returning to finish my Masters Degree at Georgetown University in January of 2011. I graduated with a 3.2 GPA from William and Mary and currently have a 3.7 GPA at Georgetown. During my time at William and Mary I worked as a tutor for Calculus, Biology and Chemistry. A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently graduated from Virginia Tech where I majored in Biological Sciences. This included biology, physics, and chemistry as focus points. My tutoring experience has been volunteer work. Throughout my academic career I have always helped others, from explaining difficult concepts to peer reviewing papers in college. I have also been a substitute teacher at my local high school since 2007. I recently worked under a doctoral candidate on a research project about warblers.
