After earning my Bachelors degree in Education in 1988 I taught GED,ESL,ABE, and advised law students while running the library. ACADEMY SCHEDULE & COURSES: We tutor daily, from Monday through Sunday. From Monday through Thursday, we offer group tutoring from 3pm and on. Our private tutoring schedule is individualized during the week day. From Thursday through Sunday, we offer private 1-on-1 tutoring with individualized schedules. When necessary, we stay up with each student until they have mastered their material, and on many occasions, Dr. Park has test-prepped the cramming student until 3 am. We offer tutoring not only targeting standardized exams, but also every high school subject. We tutor in Math, Physics, Chemistry, English, Spanish, and other subjects. Inquire, and we will cover it. I try and find the style in which the child learns best. Many children just need help getting to where they want to go. I don't believe in ever just giving a child answers. You as teacher or tutor should lead them in the path of understanding and ask leading questions to get them to go in the right direction for the answers. Children should be able to explore their world and not be resigned to worksheets and rote answers. Learning should be a fun experience that everyone enjoys. During my undergraduate work at Florida State University I had the opportunity to spend many hours over the course of two years working in elementary schools with children. I have taught and helped tutor in all elementary subjects. My main internship was in a first grade classroom. I have always enjoyed working with children and seeing the light of understanding in their eyes.

I have a wide variety of experience and an innate desire to learn more about the world around me. I began my undergraduate degree in Political Science, but after taking a Biology course in California, became rather excited about the sciences. I have worked in a variety of laboratory settings, as well as in the field, applying the science that I have learned to real life situations and truly gaining a better understanding of the dynamic nature of the sciences.
