Hands-On Learning

I love to interact with children. I believe that children should be involved with their school work. Hands on work and visual interactions help when certain curriculums don't sink in. Involving children to learn, beyond taking notes, helps them understand difficult subject and also helps them retain them better to memory.

My elementary school, Hamen Elementary, had a program in which good students could tutor mentally challenged students. I did that for three years. I also spent 8 years teaching martial arts and three years teaching dog training. I am also responsible for the majority of my younger brother's education. He is special needs and got expelled from kindergarten. He has since graduated. So I have a great deal of experience teaching students of all levels and abilities.
