I have a passion for teaching, and that is the way I teach! I am a high-energy instructor who encourages children to not only reach their goals, but to also readily accept the next challenge as well. I am a very patient person and my teaching style reflects that. I will always make sure your child understands the concepts that the teacher is trying to teach. Even when he or she shows that the material is understood I will always go over it a few more times to make sure it really sticks. Everyone has a learning style that works best for them and I will try to figure out the method that will allow your child to improve the most. I will also try and make sure I teach at a pace that is appropriate for your child.
I am a very recent graduate of Penn State where academics are a main focus. I have a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Political Science and feel qualified to tutor in spelling, writing, English, reading and related subjects.
