I recently graduated from college with a BS in Mathematics. Upon entering college, I was a Biomedical Science major, so along with my math skills, I am also experienced in the sciences. I have learned grammatical skills through writing essays and lab reports. As a high school senior, I tutored younger students in math and science. A Little Bit About Me...

My main goal in teaching is not to have the student simply memorize the necessary content in order to achieve an A in the course but it is rather to impart the student with an understanding of the underlying concepts so that they may build upon this knowledge. Understanding the coursework will allow the student to excel in other synthetic classes and enable them to manipulate, construct, and critically think regarding the subject. I have taught many students ranging from freshman to seniors at the college level and can be dynamic enough to cater to each of their learning styles whether they learn pictorially, verbally, with power point etc.

A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout high school and college, I've always excelled in my school work. I was president of the math club and often tutored my peers during my spare time. The University of Florida has provided me with a well rounded education, and I feel myself knowledgable in many areas, from languages like french, spanish and hindi, to the sciences like chemistry, biology, and physics. I'm also very familiar with writing term papers.
I like to teach by example and immersion. So much of what schools preach today is rote memorization, and to a certain degree, this cannot be avoided. But whenever possible, I like to try and find real world applications and demonstrations to get my lessons across to my pupil.
