My Dad was a band director in Alabama. I have been playing trombone since 1965. I have played with rock 'n' roll bands, jazz bands, and symphonies. I am currently bass trombone with the Richmond Jazz Band, and principle trombone with the Northern Neck Symphony. I also play trombone and tube with our church orchestra. Two years ago, I began a trombone group in Richmond, VA called "Bonefire". We now have 48 members, get together twice monthly, and perform 4-12 gigs annually. Just charts for 4-20 trombones.
