A Little Bit About Me...

I remember my first tutor in junior high. He helped me gain an understanding beyond just the numbers and the formulas. From his example, I started tutoring friends as a sophomore in high school. I enjoy helping others see beyond the numbers, in understanding the basics, and seeing how everything fits together. I enjoy guiding the way and helping to enlighten children that have that innate curiosity. How many can envision the one (or two) individuals that helped them to see and imagine? I was an academic tutor for the Student Learning Center at CSUC for two semesters, where I attained an advanced level tutoring certificate from the College Reading & Learning Association.
