As a graduate in one of the top liberal arts colleges in the nation, I received an education that enhanced my skills as a writer, as a leader, and as a thinker. I worked as an assistant teacher for the Spanish department where I conducted speaking drills to improve the proficiency of Spanish for elementary level students. I also frequently led class discussions to garner confidence in speaking Spanish. During my senior year at Davidson College, I researched and wrote a thirty-five page thesis regarding the portrayal of women in two Latin American dictatorship novels.
