A Little Bit About Me...

I am hands on. I personally learn best from things like powerpoints and handouts. This is also the way I tend to teach others.
I am a high school senior in the AP/Honors program at Warner Robins High School. I have two little sisters who I have tutored since they began school. On average, they have scored higher on tests when I have helped, particularly in the area of social studies. I have also helped multiple students at my school. The average that they score on a test is typically ten points higher than when they study by themselves and, in some cases, twenty points if the student does not study at all. The results are typically better in social studies, the subject which I am most proficient in, but all subjects tend to shoe significant improvement.

A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching children of all ages. Learning can be fun as long as you can relate it to something that the child is interested in. Gaining the knowledge that is taught in middle school and high school only helps the child to further education. I believe learning should be fun and enjoyable. I am very patient and take pride in producing positive results.
I obtained my Associates of Science Degree in Biology at Macon State College completing courses in Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Calculus. I then completed my Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology at Valdosta State University. I have been driven to excel in college and in my career in logistics. I've graduated from two of the top universities in the US, and retired from the USAF as a Major. I'm also a graduate of Air War College. I've traveled the world as an instructor navigator and defense contractor, learning about many cultures and religions. In addition to Spanish, I also speak Turkish. I also owned my own logistics services business, winning a contract with the USAF.
My technique in teaching navigation was to expose the student to the underlying physics of dead reaconing and celestial object movement. Then we would put the theory into practice in the air. I strove to always give positive feedback and encouragement.
