My comments on tutoring Writing : All of the above are related to this category. I am a published author in business, leadership, and spiritual genres (American Management Association and Thomas Nelson). I have credibility as as writer of not only books, but articles about writing as well. The ability to write is not innate, but a skill, which is one of the skills that draws me to teaching it. I know from my own work in helping various populations the role that clear and persuasive writing can have in one's life - aside from writing papers for school.

I have thirty years of experience teaching and tutoring writing for high school, college, and adult learners. Corporate clients have included: Price Waterhouse, Sara Lee, GE, DuPont, TVA, Square D, United Methodist Publishing House, Southwestern Company, Vanderbilt Medical Center, Genesco, and HCA. Government agencies have included: The US Department of the Army, The US Department of Agriculture, and the Office of Personnel Management. Colleges and Universities have included: Vanderbilt University, Belmont University, Tennessee Technological University, Nashville State Community College. Tutoring clients include NSCC for five years in writing center and private tutoring in my home for MBA and Brentwood Academy students and NSCC ESL student.
