I began my career teaching for six years at a K-8 parochial school in Erie, PA, then taught for 3 years at an elite all boys prep school, also in Erie (Cathedral Preparatory School). We then relocated to Omaha, NE for my husband's job where I taught at the high school level for the last eight years. We recently moved to the Charlotte, NC area as my husband again advances his career.

I have been working in medicine for 16 years i have been a doctor for 4 of those years. A professor for three and a nurse for 10 years prior to becoming a doctor.
