A Little Bit About Me...

I have experience tutoring individuals with ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, and those who simply do not understand the work. For the past 4 years I have tutored students in all subjects in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Also, I have a child who is ADHD with whom I assist while doing homework. I am a College Student studying English and Politics

I was a tutor in high school for many elementary and middle school aged children. I am also experienced with writing papers, so I can help anyone who is writing for a college application or essay. I am a very quick learner, so if there is a subject I am not as familiar with I am willing to study it to help a student. I began tutoring friends and neigbors shortly after returning home from Michigan in 1995. I didn't earn my degree from Michigan until 2000. However, I spent the years in between working full time and taking classes. Many of my jobs involved tutoring students. In 2001 I received my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Temple, and taught in the shcool district from January 2001 - June, 2002.
