I currently substitute teach for both the Tempe and Higley school districts and am looking for part time tutoring through the summer. I am certified to teach Kindergarten through 8th grade. I am proud to say that the young man I worked with the longest is now finishing his BA in justice studies at Cal State Dominguez Hills. I also tutored as a substitute aid for the Ocean View School District in Orange County, California. After earning my BA in journalism from CSUF I have published in a number of print and online media outlets, and I am currently pursuing an MFA in creative writing.
