I have taught Accounting and Hospitality courses in two community colleges in Connecticut. I spent 11 years as a Controller in the Hospitality Industry working for 4 different hotel companies throughout the US specializing in building new and renovating older hotels. I then settled in CT and worked in the non profit field at the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and then with the CT ST Dental Assoc. I also spent 4 tax seasons with a local CPA firm then decided to do freelance accounting. I work with different clients and help them with their accounting needs.
I do not believe in lectures but in comparisons to real world and one on one discussions.

When I was a high school kid, I finished the highest math class during grade 11. Since I was so good at mathematics, my teachers suggested me to tutor my classmates in math and science. Later, my study in the University of Connecticut has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science, especially mathematics. I got my bachelor's degree with concentration on statistics in Beijing Normal University, which is the best teacher training university in China, and received all rounded training to make a teacher. In summer of 2007, I joined a summer camp team and volunteer to tutor math in a far away high school. Currently i am working as teaching assistant in University of Connecticut. The evaluation from my college students is good enough.

While at Nichols College, I took a part time job at the local Boys & Girls club in Dudley Massachusetts. Here, I worked with children from a variety of backgrounds on their homework and various other projects especially mathematics in which I specialize in. Many of these children were living in more challenging home environments, sometimes lacking a father and or living in a troubled neighborhood. My textbook strengths would anything math, finance, accounting, and business related.
