German is one of my top subjects! I have been teaching German for almost 15 years in various venues: College, industrial settings, individual and classes. Business and technical German are additional fields I cover depending on your needs along with German grammar (from scratch to advanced), reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills. I offer Intercultural Training designed to help professionals in their respective business settings to better interact with their counterparts and become more efficient communicators according to their interlocutor's culture and background.
Depending on the needs and skills of the students, I will adjust my teaching style. Hence, it can range from being very structured to the loose conversational interaction where I intersperse grammar as needed throughout the instruction. Also, I apply visual and oral methodology with highly interactive elements in all of my lessons, so that the students get exposed to as much real-life situations as possible in grappling with the language. The target language takes center stage from almost the very beginning. During the first few sessions, if students begin from scratch, it will be unavoidable to use English. Eventually, however, the goal will be to get students to communicate without the aid of English.
