I have been teaching at the college level since 2003. I have taught a variety of Mathematics and Statistics courses, at UALR, SEARK, University of South Carolina, and ITT tech. I have experience teaching all types of students from true Freshman to students coming back to college. I have done some high school level tutoring as well. I like teaching by example, I feel that mathematics is a hands on subject, and you must try the problems to learn them.

I use a variety of teaching styles, until I find out a style that appeals to the student I am working with. Some students are visual, while others are kinesthetic like myself. I have been involved in a lot of activities and feel the best way to teach is to relate to the student. As a tutor, I have worked with many different types of students and I found a way to relate the information to something they were interested in.
