I have worked as a outreach counselor at Northeast Guidance for almost three years. Also, I worked at Chandler Park Academy as a counselor while also tutoring basic skills in small group settings. While a counselor at Grant Elementary School in Detroit, Michigan, i tutored in an after school program, tutoring math and reading. I was at Grant School for eight years. The children seemed to enjoy the program. We had fun. Before that, I was at Jackson Middle School in Detroit, Michigan, and I was there for eleven years. Before becoming a counselor, I taught math (6-8). Then as a counselor, I had a after school tutoring program which involved parents and students as well as the community.
