I was an elementary education major for 2.5 years before following my specific passion to writing and literature in my Junior year to finish up school. There is not one teaching style that works for everyone. Making the subjects fun and exciting is a great way to get the students engaged. Everyone has different ways of learning and finding that niche will enable that student to be confident when it comes to learning anything. A student's outlook dictates how they relate to a certain subject. Breaking the mindset that it is too difficult or overwhelming are all mental.
