My comments on tutoring Spelling : I have many techniques that I have shared with students of all ages in order to help them master spelling or compensate for a disability in this area.

I believe that all students can learn to read and write with an approach individualized for each learner regardless of the age.
For the past three years, I have been teaching Writing at Austin Community College. Prior to that I taught teachers as an online facilitator for PBS. I was a reading tutor for 5-7 year olds within the Austin Independent Shool District and Westlake area for 15 years.
