As a teacher I work well with my students, giving them the basic ideas that they need to learn to appreciate mathematics. As a mother of four, I provided them the idea that mathematics is really an enjoyable subject.With much patience and compassion, I was able to impart to them that learning is fun. For example, my friend was having trouble completing accounting homework and I soon realized that it was because he had not memorized the basic equations; i.e., "assets - liabilities = owner's equity," and "beginning inventory + purchases - ending inventory = cost of goods sold."
