A Little Bit About Me...

I'm a 19 year old girl from Italy. Blinn college recruited me as a volleyball player, so I'm living my new experience in the USA as a freshman. I love to travel and I've travelled a lot. Canada, USA, Morocco, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Paris, London, Norimberg(Germany), Helsinki, Haicheng(China), Lisboa(Portugal). My list is still long. Learning as far as I can is my goal.With that being said I love science and I'm pursuing a Major in bo-engineering, I want to be a resercher and help humanity somehow. The lab is my natural environment, I love dealing with cells and organisms. I think it takes a lot for one teacher to reach all of types of students who are all at different levels of interest in the subject being taught as well as at different levels of understanding. However, I feel it is the teacher's responsibility to give them all equal opportunity to learn. It is not just about grades and assignments, that is just the means to an end, but it is about learning. In order for the students to learn, the teacher needs to be passionate about the students as well as the subject that is being taught. That will instill in the students a desire to learn and understand.
In having a science background, I have not only learned laboratory skills and reasoning skills, but I have learned how to increase efficiency, communicate in a clear manner, and write in a way that is direct and clear.
