I love when I can help others!

I am going to school to become a teacher in the grades of kindergarten through 5th, I have been a nanny for several people and have enjoyed it completely! During my nanny duties, I would of course have a home-schooling section and would also help around the house when needed, so I think that I am a very good candidate for teaching basics and other subjects to help kids better themselves and their studies!
My teaching style is more hands on because that's how I learned fastest when I was in school.

I have historically been a sketch artist. This talent led to me into graphic design for advertising. I later majored in advertising and worked several internships and practicums with a variety of ad agencies and publication, including Southern Living. Over half of my 24-year is comprised of creative management positions. Recently, I decided to get back into higher education to earn my Masters degree in graphic design.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a college student who has been at the top of my class since I was in the sixth grade. I have taken the highest level of classes that has needed to be taken. I am a logical thinker and I am willing to solve anything that I come across. When I was in middle school, I attended a book competition, where I had to read several books and then answer various questions about them. Coming from the influence of a family of educators, I realized early on my affinity towards teaching. In addition to my college degrees, I have been very involved in the 'summer camp' experience. Over six summers, I worked with two summer camps to teach various physical and academic curricula to grade groups K-5, 6-8, 9-12. I graduated in the top 15% of my class from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I then started my own company as a Spanish instructor. I taught Spanish to medical professionals and at the local preschools in the Boone, NC area. Last school year I taught high school Spanish.
