I've also finished the ASL Studies program at Frederick Community College where I graduated with Honors and also made the Deans' list 3x. I've taken every ASL class through Hagerstown Comm.College and DeafNet, along with the Interpreting classes through DeafNet. I've also taken Religious Signing,gesture class, Deaf history, Deaf community, Deaf Culture. I have done some church Interpreting as well. I do sub for the elementary schools, prefer lower grades.

During these years at Montgomery College I have volunteered for many interpreting opportunities. The only way to learn something is by learning the concept and working with it over and over again until it is stuck in your mind. I often achieve this with flashcards and organizing by colors.
