I am an experienced, caring tutor.

I have over 10 years of experience tutoring. I have tutored elementary to college students and even taught basic reading through Sylvan's Ace-It tutoring. I have extensive experience working one-on-one and also in groups. I was a Supplemental Instruction Leader all through my college years which allowed me to work with groups and instructors, creating sample tests and quizzes, and helping individuals with different learning styles. I have assisted others with learning Spanish, even when English was not the first language, and helped high school up to college students.

My strength lies in the ability to explain organic chemistry into simple language. This includes first and second semester college organic chemistry. I am also confident in explaining general chemistry both at high school and college level. Example of topics that I cover are stoichiometry, gas laws, thermodynamics, chemical bonding and VSPER theory, acid/base chemistry, kinetics, equilibrium etc. My style changes with each individual student. During the five years I tutored college students in Illinois, I learned alot of teaching styles that my students liked. I always try to explain the subject in a way that makes it easy for the student to learn fast. Sometimes I use visual aids to explain difficult lessons. I also try to explain the subject in different ways and let the student decide which way is easier.
I have always liked learning chemistry and math. They were my favorite subjects, and I always get "A" on these subjects. I tutored college students in Illinois for the past 5 years. I enjoyed the tutoring experience and my students liked my teaching style.
