While attending Brown University, I volunteered as a tutor at Providence Summerbridge, an enrichment program for inner-city middle school students. I realized that teaching was my passion and became a full-time ESL teacher at an elementary school in Washington, DC while earning masters degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from American University.
