Japanese is one of my top subjects! I have recently graduated with a minor in Japanese Language and Culture. I began studying the language in 2000. My undergraduate coursework included courses in Japanese Language, Japanese Literature, Japanese Pop Culture, Japanese History, and Japanese Film, among others.

I have experience teaching children ages 4-6, including both neurotypical and autism-spectrum children. I also have informally instructed college-aged individuals whose first language was not English on the proper use of various English grammar structures. I have been studying the Japanese language since 2000, and piano since 2001.
My teaching style is flexible, and I attempt to find strategies that are personalized to how the student learns best.

I'm half Japanese and half British. Previously worked in Japan, and still work with clients from the area. I've tutored Japanese since the age of 16, and enjoy the interactions with my students. My teaching style is so passionate, I love opening doors to where students actually grasps the idea of learning and the effectiveness of it. As a young adult I often times relate my learning experience to theirs, in order for the students to see hard work actually pays off.
