As the oldest of three children, I have informally tutored for many years. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I worked with a community college student and aided him in passing his Algebra course. My interests in education are diverse. The Omega School, an alternative hiigh school that occupied a few rooms in an an old office buiilding, helped high risk students who couldn't fit into a regular high school environment obtain their GED. Some students were gifted but unable to adjust to the regimens of regular high school. Others stole cars or acted out in other ways.
