Creative Writing is one of my top subjects!

My teaching style is aimed at making the child feel good and happy with learning. Often children need tutoring in subjects that frustrate them, they miss one aspect and while they're spending time on that in class the teacher blazes past them adding more confusion. I take it upon myself to back track to the initial place where the confusion stemmed from and spend the time working through these rough patches. I gear everything as a game or story to create excitement in a subject that would normally earn groans. A Little Bit About Me...

Although I have worked mostly in Film and Television since graduating from University, I returned to the University of LaVerne in Athens, Greece in 2004 to tutor foreign students in essay writing and to help hem with their entrance exams. I worked there part-time (3 days a week) for 2 years. I continued tutoring 2 students privately for another year. In 2009 I tutored after-school English at DeAnza Middle School in Ventura for approximately 6 months.
