A Little Bit About Me...

Education has always been an essential function in my life, it eventually became my passion. I achieved a bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts and a Master's degree in Mass Communications/screenwriting which I believe portrays my adoration for learning new things and excelling at things I am already interested in. I have two younger siblings in which I have tutored my whole life in multiple subjects and it has been rewarding in ways I cannot describe. In my last year of Graduate school, I was a teacher's assistant for the head professor of screenwriting for the bachelor's program. I completed my Undergraduate Degree with a double major in Marketing and Finance and then went on to study in Graduate School for my MBA with a specialty in Financial Planning. I have also completed the coursework for my Certified Financial Planning Designation. I have been responsible for papers, essays, calculus, algebra, statistics, writing, language arts, biology and of course, finance, accounting and business. As a graduate of Sociology I have gained a lot of knowledge about how society functions. I was interested in this area of study to understand peoples because I have always had compassion for others. I have participated in a 4 unit class where i taught Spanish to 8-11 year old children and it consisted of developing a plan that included songs and dancing to learn Spanish in a fun and animated way. I have done research on homelessness, and had an internship with a non profit that provides social services for those in need. Working closely with this organization has helped me assess peoples needs and use problem solving skills to help individuals in a variety of situations.
