For five years I taught swimming lessons. While swimming isnotan academic subject, this experience taught me the essentials of teaching. I worked with a large range of ages, from six months to sixty years. While in college I was a tutor/editor in the writing center all three years. I am currently working at Challenger 7 Elementary School as the only Guidance Counselor. I have created a study group club with students that need study skills, organizational skills or assistance getting their work done! I have been employed as a substitute teacher and mental health counselor in the past. I enjoy working with students because a lot of their stress is due to frustration of not knowing a concept.
