My comments on tutoring Algebra : I have been helping students with algebra since college. I have a BA in molecular cell biology from UC Berkeley. I have worked for large test prep companies since college.

Most tutors merely act as a solutions manual for off the shelf test prep books. I believe in providing my students a fully comprehensive curricula that covers both strategy and subject matter. Every student learns differently and at their own pace. I strongly believe in diagnosing and targeting student's weak areas.
I have enjoyed tutoring since high school. During college, I tutored college level math and chemistry. After college I worked for a large test prep company teaching SAT prep courses in various high schools. I'm currently enrolled in Kaplan University pursuing my certification to become a Registered Dental Assistant with Extended Functions. I have completed High School and obtained my Diploma in 2014. Keep it Simple

I like to keep things simple, in class they make it sound complicated but in reality the process is quite the opposite and I can demonstrate effective ways to study and master the topics I am educated in. I can relate to most students, since I am only 19 years old and I'm a student myself at Fresno State University.
I have been at the top of my class in Mathematics ever since the first grade. In 7th grade I took and passed Algebra 1, which is a 9th grade level class. Ever since that I've taken classes in math that are two years ahead of my grade, up to Calculus 2 in 11th grade. I passed the AP test for calculus 1 and 2 in high school. My SAT score in math was 670 in 2009 which was higher than 89% of the graduating high school class in the nation.

Using the Right Methods to Unlock a Students Full Potential!

Most of the students who require tutoring have trouble building on previous lessons they have learned. The problem is if a student fails to learn a concept in class by the time the teacher moves on, he/she will be left behind from that point on. The job of a tutor is to find these hold ups and patch them with a customized lesson plan to fit the students learning patterns. This is what i will do and i personally promise results in under a month
I've always enjoyed helping others understand mathematics. During my high school years i would voluntarily help my friends, and the classmates near me keep up with class lectures and provide them with tips to help them complete take home assignments.
