I have a passion for learning, teaching and helping others. I have earned a BS in mathematics as well as a MAE. I have over ten years of experience tutoring third grade through twelfth grade students and I am in my third year of teaching in public high schools.
I believe with all of my heart that every child can learn and be successful with the right tools. A Little Bit About Me...

I love one on one or small class sizes. Each child is so different in their own way and each have such a different learning style that I like to take it slow and be personal with each student. In my years of experience I have learned how to make learning fun. I love to include humor and everyday examples when I teach. Children are amazing and after all our future.
As an Americorp participant during my early college years I learned of the many joys that teaching can give. I have a BS in general studies and very close to a BS in psychology, criminal justice, and English. I have taught at a college for 3 years, substituted for various school districts for 2, and I am currently finishing a full-time jr. High teaching position at Immanuel Christian School.

As a scientific researcher and future graduate student, I believe that science (Chemistry and Biology) are a pertinent are of study for students who plan to be premed, involved in healthcare, or desire to conduct innovative research. I have earned my bachelors degree in Biology, and have earned a minor in Chemistry. These studies have allowed me to take courses and gain experience in both the lecture and laboratory facets of my academic career, which has allowed me to become a very competent laboratory researcher and technician. I may back track and ensure they understand the basic foundation of the principle they are learning, then move forward one step at a time, as they grasp each concept. Many times, they must understand step one, to complete step two, etc. I love to see people succeed.
