Some students learn best from lectures, other learn from visuals while some are much better at hands-on instruction and correlations/representations. Children are amazing artists due to the fact that they don't censor themselves creatively like most adults tend to do. I teach, instilling confidence through positivity and constructive criticism. I encourage children to experiment and discover their own style. I teach the basic fundamentals as well as the techniques of painting and let the children find their own unique style.
