First I like to try to ask them where they are having trouble or watch them do some problems to see where they are having troubles. The hardest thing about teaching is determining how the individual student learns. I have found that all people learn differently so it is best to understand this process to make the teaching more effective. I like to challenge the individuals I tutor.
