I earned a bachelor degree in Mathematics and have worked in Information Technology for over 25 years. I feel it is important to understand what is different and unique about every student. Not all students will learn in the same way, nor will they find their desire to learn in the same way. I feel it is my duty as a teacher to find what these ways are for every student. Differentiation is vital to the learning process and can only be executed effectively if you know your students.
In high school I tutored junior high students who were having trouble in with school. After high school I joined the U.S Navy, where I trained junior personal for three years. During my time as a tutor and my Student Teaching experience through SUNY Geneseo, I felt I could help any student at any time. I feel like I can relate to students and can help them learn.
