My teaching style is eclectic, drawing from a variety of instructional methods according to the immediate needs of my student. I look for the strengths, not only academic, but also social and personal, in every student. I also assess a student’s needs both formally and informally to determine areas of need and whether we are making progress in those areas. I am a passionate teacher and tutor. I believe that there is not a minute to waste when working with youth, and I like to conduct vigorous tutorials and well-paced classes. I believe that everyone has a different learning style, and this is why tutoring is such an integral supplement to classroom teaching. I enjoy getting to know my students and creating lesson plans for tutorials based on their personal learning styles.
