My comments on tutoring Math : Good at geometry

I have had helped my classmates friends with math and I am really good at geometry and algebra. I tutored people Chinese here at Trine Campus. I like to help people and not give up until we are satisfied.

During my collegiate years, I learned that experience was just as important as obtaining my degree. Therefore, I worked during my college years in a school offering mentoring for young children. During my life I have worked in several types of businesses in which I would usually advance to becoming the lead person, teacher to the ones working below me. Micro welding had to teach others how to set machines and run them. I built parts which went to the moon, had to teach the others how they were made. Owned an upholstery business and taught people how to sew, cut, and hang the materials on the furniture. I helped my sons and later my granddaughters with home work. All of this should add up to a year of tutoring students. Teaching the students they need to ask questions that concern them the most and then always manage to work through them.

I like to give examples of problems, and "problem solve" with the student through illustrative examples on paper or on the board. I love math. I find it fun, challenging, and very interesting.
