I am about to complete my first year at IU School of Dentistry. I completed my B.S. in Biology at IPFW with a 4.0 GPA and love learning! Science is my specialty but I enjoy other subjects as well. During my life I have worked in several types of businesses in which I would usually advance to becoming the lead person, teacher to the ones working below me. Micro welding had to teach others how to set machines and run them. I built parts which went to the moon, had to teach the others how they were made. Owned an upholstery business and taught people how to sew, cut, and hang the materials on the furniture. I helped my sons and later my granddaughters with home work. All of this should add up to a year of tutoring students. Teaching the students they need to ask questions that concern them the most and then always manage to work through them.

As a mathematics major, I worked in the math lab all four years of my college experience. I would tutor others with their math and help students study for exams. I have also tutored in junior high settings and this past summer I tutored a young girl in 7th grade math. I have also tutored while in high school.

As a graduate in Elementary Education, I have taught for 30 years in all subject areas, but have concentrated the last 15 years in the area of Math. I have also tutored students. I have been involved in all levels of education ranging from 4th grade to 8th grade. I have also taught Algebra to students as part of the Mathematics programs, in which I have taught.
