I like to challenge people to think outside of the box. Although I know it is important to know how to take tests and write papers appropriately, I also know that showing skills that go above and beyond, is what makes a student stand out. I will challenge your mind but in a way that will help to see the bigger picture out of the details, and will also help to shape you into a well-rounded, thoughtful individual. I am currently a Sociology student at Augsburg College. I am also pursuing a minor in Psychology. This year will be my last, so I will graduate in 2014. I have experience in writing poetry, namely slam. I also have studied poetry in classes and on my own. I have taken creative writing and journalism courses. I have experience in the journalism field, and won an award for one of my stories.
