Starting in high school, I began to tutor grade school and middle school students through an after-school honors program. I have worked with (primarily middle school) students in several volunteer programs through church youth ministries. I had recently held a position as Music Director for Middle School Ministry at Willow Creek Community Church in Dupage, IL for 13 months. While earning my BAS in the Chicago area, I tutored college students in several subjects, mostly Math and Computer Skills for the entirety of the Bachelors program, 26 months. In both high school and college, the majority of students I tutored were at-risk/probational students. I have a passion for math and love to make the subject come alive for children and adults alike. I am quite patient and sensitive to diverse educational and family backgrounds, so I often try to relate concepts to the student's own life and act
