I spent most of my undergraduate degree focused on learning advanced mathematics. While it was extremely challenging, I enjoyed it more than any other education experience. My love of math was echoed in my love for literature and writing. Although English was less challenging for me, the creative freedom made it worthwhile. Once I identify potential issues the student is having, I break the difficult problem into smaller problems which are easier to handle. I believe students need to start with easy problems, multiple examples, and heavy guidance.
