I prefer to let the student explain what they understand and then identify what they are struggling with in order to avoid wasting time covering issues that they are proficient in to ensure that the student gets the most out of the time. I have completed over 22 years of school, including 3 degrees. Along the way, I have been required to take multiple standardized tests in order to achieve admission into both the schools and my profession and have perfected the skills of preparing for and taking standardized tests. I have worked with friends in helping them identify their strengths and the focus of the exam in order to formulate a study plan to make the most efficient use of study time.
