A Little Bit About Me...

After I completed my degree in psychology from the University of Redlands I became a substitute teacher for a year before I decided to go back to school and pursue a career in medicine. I also was an American Reads Tutor in college working with special needs elementary students. I finished by post-baccalaureate Pre-Health Certificate with a GPA of 3.99. The courses included: calculus, general chemistry, genetics and molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, organic chemistry and physics. I tutored genetics and physics within my program. I have completed the MCAT and have extensive knowledges of the concepts of the sciences.

I have been a substitute teacher in Long Beach, Santa Barbara, Glendale, and Palm Springs. I have had experience as a long term substitute in Senior English for a year at Palm Springs High School, also in Palm Springs, I did six months as a Special Education teacher at Cree Middle School. While I was in Glendale, I worked a year at Allen Continuation High School teaching English and Social Studies.
