Because I am a very patient and detail oriented person, I feel it is best to adapt my teaching style to the student's learning style. I would first make that evaluation to determine how best to approach teaching the student. I enjoy using hands-on examples and Powerpoint presentations in teaching. I am flexible in my style because each child is unique. It is important to address the needs of all groups. I incorporate a variety of strategies so that all are involved and challenged to learn. Like a doctor, I prescribe a learning path and adjust the strategies as needed for individual students' needs.
I began working in Tangipahoa Parish February of 1983.
