I have worked in a higher education environment since 2000. I tuaught CPR and First Aid classes for 4 years for Child Care providers from 1996 to 2000. I am one class from completing my MBA in accounting. I will officially graduate in May of 2010. I developed a heart for young people at an early age, as my parents were missionaries to Native Americans. I truly believe that education has changed my life and promote higher education. My current job is a graduate research assistant in Wichita State University. I used to conduct research and help professors in preparing exams and teaching different courses. I have finished more than seventy hours of graduate courses which are required for PhD degree in Industrial engineering. I worked for five years in Jordan as a production and quality control engineer. Since my previous experience has been working with fairly non-traditional students, I would like to find a similar position. I have applied for several positions that have opened up in public schools and other agencies. I would like to see if I could work with younger children and adults and or with special needs students. Another area of interest would be teaching upper level mathematics and science courses in a small town school. Another interest, that I have is to teach developmental mathematics and other skills in college. I am also interested in teaching in a correctional facility as well. Being a big sister has always been my favorite job; therefore, I have always sought out opportunities to mentor.
