My comments on tutoring Drama : I have appeared in several mini productions at churches and youth organizations throughout the city of Memphis,TN. I have taken theater courses while attending college. I was one of the lead characters in a commercial done in December of 2008 for TN Blue, an organization helping to fight against rape. Also, I was the lead girl in the video made for a song in which I sang lead entitled, "No Baby;" it was written and produced by leaders of Youth Visions, Inc. in hopes to speak out against the high teen pregnancy rate in the 38127 area code.

Hello everyone! I would like to think that I'm an all around person, willing to work in many fields. Although most of my educational background is geared towards Psychology, I have plenty of experience with other subjects; the Psychology of learning aids me in being capable to work with other subjects. My past occupational experiences include being a reading tutor for the Memphis Literacy Corps, the Elementary Education Coordinator and Self-Esteem Instructor at Youth Visions, Inc., a youth advisor at St. Paul M.B.C., an actress appearing in several different presentations that include commercials, and being enrolled in a Master's program; I will complete my Master's degree in August 2013.
My teaching style is dependent upon the student's learning ability. Typically I am a hands on teacher and enjoy using as many visuals as possible.

I graduated from Dillard University in New Orleans, La., where I was a tutor for the Saturday Science Academy. I received a bachelors degree from The University of Memphis in integrative studies in the fall of 2009. Upon graduation, I was required to complete two semesters of student teaching. Also, during my four years of college, I tutored three different students, one in reading and the other two in English. A Little Bit About Me...

As a Licensed Master Social Worker, I have worked with various at-risk populations, including child with behavioral and emotional problems. I, myself have an 8 year old son who has been diagnosed with ADHD and a mood disorder. I know how extremely hard it is for parents during homework time. I have been working in the social work field for over 5 years. I also worked for Memphis City Schools for two years in various capacities. I have tutored students in various subjects.
I love working with children and have two of my own. I am able to meet children where they are. I love to see the "Aha" moment when children figure out a concept. A lot of schools and classrooms are overcrowded and students need that special attention.

I was very much driven to obtain 18 yeard level experience in education.I have teaching certificate,BS in biology and master in business administration and health care management.Four years teaching experience in maths and science in high school, middle school, and college.Two teaching assistance and lab tutor at Rust college.
Teaching is a learning process, and I love teaching youn children particularly science because it is the build block of our nation.
