I am a former special education teacher who specialized with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing populations, but in the regular education environment, I worked with kids of all disabilities all the way to highly gifted kids. I was known for recognizing learning styles and adapting curriculum to reach all of those populations in very creative and engaging ways for excellent results. Who Wants To Be A Francophone Too?

I began my French career roughly ten years ago. I knew that French would be at the very center of my existence. Therefore, I decided to dedicate my studies to the language. I even wound up living in France for over a year. I lived in Paris for six months and Montpellier for the rest of the year. It was one of the best experiences of my life; it truly taught me what it means to speak and to understand French, which is why I have made it my goal to aide others in understanding the oftentimes difficult language.

My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have taught English full time for two years, participated in numerous writing workshops, and been a fiction editor for CreateSpace Publishing and Pressque LLE from 2009 to the present. My editing work is not proofreading so much as working with authors to achieve their goals and improve their writing in areas of plot, style, character development, tone, and structure.
