TOEFL is one of my top subjects! I have taught many students who want to ace the Test. As an immigrant myself I know how to develop the skills by the test date. When I first took the test I received acceptance at 5-6 colleges.

I have always been a dedicated student all my life. I teach a variety of subjects as I am proficient in many of them. I only teach subjects or test preps that I know I can help the student in. I know I can help any student do well in class if she or he follows my guide-line. My GPA has always been between 3.7 and 4.0 all through my academic journey.
I give notes, guide-lines and encouragement. I am very patient.

A Little Bit About Me...

I eight years of experience teaching English as a Second Language in elementary school and middle school. I worked with students in the regular classroom, team-teaching all subjects with the classroom teacher. I have also taught university composition for more than three years overseas. I have degrees in linguistics and English, giving me a great depth of knowledge of vocabulary and the structure of the English language. I have experience tutoring students in phonics, reading, composition, and English language arts.

My teaching style can best be described as entertaining, insightful, dedicated, flexible and individually-oriented. I feel that for any individual who chooses to learn something new, the biggest key to their success is motivation and their personal interest in what they are looking to learn. I also recognize that many students (especially young learners) are guided to study various lessons/fields by parents/educators and they need to find what they are being guided to study interesting in some way.
