I began teaching in 1976 in Tarboro, NC. My first teaching experience was in the middle school, grade 8. After that year, I taught fourth grade for 6 years. My next assignment was teaching at a junior high school grade 8 Language Arts, and grade 9 Basic English, and Diagnostic and Prescriptive Reading. I have a bachelors degree in Economics with a concentration in mathematics. I have been tutoring all of my life. I've tutored children, college students, and adults. I've tutored mathematics, grammar, reading, writing, and the military entrance exam. I tutor all levels of mathematics up through Calculus. I graduated in the top 15% of my class from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I then started my own company as a Spanish instructor. A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS in Biological Sciences with a minor in Genetics. During college, I taught/tutored 7th graders at a local middle school in the areas of math and science. I was responsible for full lessons as well as small group tutoring and science experiments. I was able to set-up lessons for the children to explain how math and science works together in order to provide data.
